Think big even for the smallest details

Our passion for details also extends to the HGV sector. Together with tension rollers and water pumps, our steering components also ensure that HGVs get back on the road again quickly. Our HGV database makes it easier to allocate the right parts. Together with the original spare part reference, it also includes all essential dimensions for each specific part, thus permitting precise, swift allocation even if the original spare part number is not available.

HGV tension rollers

Belt drive components in heavy-duty HGVs often work really hard – in local and long-distance haulage and also on building sites. Here there are great differences in the demands made by local and long-distance haulage compared to the situation on building sites. The failure rate in building site vehicles resulting from the extreme loads on the belt drive components is far higher than in HGVs used for local and long-distance haulage.

Tension rollers by RUVILLE guarantee the greatest possible reliability and long service from the individual parts. This helps to minimise failure times and high maintenance costs for HGVs.

HGV Water pumps

The key features in HGV water pumps by RUVILLE consist not only of top quality bearings and mechanical shaft seals made in Europe. The alignment of the impeller blades also plays an important role. HGV engines run at far lower revs than car engines. In order to ensure that the necessary volume flow is still available, the geometry of the blades has to be precisely aligned to the demands of the particular HGV. In addition, depending on the features, HGV water pumps are also used to cool additional features such as the retarder, for example.

All top quality RUVILLE HGV water pumps are supplied without the handling costs of exchange transactions, at comparably low costs.

HGV chassis components

With heavy goods vehicles in particular, chassis components are often exposed to tough demands such as widely differing surfaces and constantly changing weather conditions. And so some axe links are supplied with molecular joints as an alternative to the rubber sleeve. These are new features which are always taken into account in our product selection and development. We also keep pace with progress in corrosion protection, supplementing simple surface treatments such as phosphate or varnish coatings.

Most of our HGV chassis components are also electrogalvanised and subsequently undergo chromium III passivation. This provides optimum corrosion protection right down into the farthest corners of the part, underlining the high quality claim of our spare parts in proven original spare part quality.
